Why it fired

Halts arrive with the reason code attached. `Halt news pending` on 974K shares traded is a different situation from a plain volatility pause.

A past alert, rebuilt in TickerRoom's own components to show the format — illustrative, not live market data. The delayed feed shows real ones, 15 minutes after they fire.

What puts a message in this channel

  • A stock is halted for volatility or a pending news event
  • The reason code is attached where the exchange provides one
  • A separate alert fires when the stock resumes

What to do with it

Check the news and filings channels — a news-pending halt usually resolves into one of them.
