Alert intelligence

The cards the bot posts alongside the alerts — what they show, and how to read them.

What these are

The scanners post events. These post state and evidence — a card per ticker that stays current while the ticker is active, a reading of how much attention it is drawing, and a report on what a scanner's own alerts went on to do. The first two can also be pulled up on demand: intel list, intel <ticker>, pulse list and pulse <ticker>, typed as plain messages in #trading-floor.

Agentic Calls are a different kind of card: a setup the automated system has planned — trigger, stop and targets — and then tracks, update by update, to how it ended.

Each one carries a footer saying what it is and is not. That is not boilerplate. A card describes a situation; deciding what the situation is worth is your job.

The cards

About the numbers on them

Where a card reports follow-through or historical context, it is reporting what was observed after previous alerts, and it prints the number of observations and their age next to the figure. A move measured over one observation and no elapsed time is not evidence of anything, and the card says so rather than leaving you to work it out.

None of it is a forecast. Past behaviour of similar alerts is context for reading the current one, and nothing on any of these cards is a recommendation to trade.
